Shahid Kapur finds new interest

Actor Shahid Kapur, who had taken a fancy to bikes and splurged Rs.1.5 million on one, has now found a new interest. He has been attracted to photography.

Shahid has purchased a new expensive camera, the D50 from Cannon.

"Cameras are not allowed on sets usually. But, lately Ken Ghosh and Ahmad Khan get blinded by flashes on the sets of one of Shahid's ventures, only to realise that it was none other than the actor taking candid shots without their knowledge, much to the unit's amusement," said a source.

Apart from Ghosh's untitled film, the actor is also busy shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj's "Kaminey" with Priyanka Chopra.

Who will be the Bollywood bride

For the official remake of popular Hollywood film “Bride Wars” in Hindi, a leading Hollywood studio is on lookout for two Bollywood actresses.

The names in the list include Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Sonam, Asin, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

The Hollywood film starred Anne Hathway and Kate Hudson.

The remake project is being given to Shrishti Behl, sister of director Goldie Behl.

The film will show a big fat Punjabi wedding with lots of drama and fun.

What will be interesting to look out for is the pairing in the movie.

Can we consider Kareena and Priyanka together? No way, they don’t even like to see each other’s face.

Deepika and Sonam? They might end up discussing Ranbir more than the movie.

I don't think I'm ready for another child: Sonali Bendre

Happy doting on her three-year-old son Ranvir, Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre says she is neither ready for another kid nor willing for a second innings in the film industry at the moment. "I don't think we (herself and husband, producer Goldie Behl) are ready for another child yet. I don't feel the need for one as of now, " Sonali told in an interview. "When I am ready for a second child, I will probably have one. God willing, if I am meant to have another one, I'll have it. But if not, I am quite happy with one and giving him whatever I can, " she added. Sonali, who was last seen in a cameo in Karan Johar's 2003 hit "Kal Ho Naa Ho", was in the capital Wednesday to speak of her association with Colors' new reality show "India's Got Talent". She is one of the judges on the show that is based on popular British talent hunt show "Britain's Got Talent". The final leg of the Delhi auditions of the show were to be held here Thursday and the actress brought her son as she felt he will get an opportunity to familiarise himself with diverse Indian cultures and traditions. "The format of this show is so different - it's like a catalogue of the diverse Indian talent and this time I got my son along with me. At the Kolkata auditions, we had Chhau (traditional dance form) dancers, Bihu dancers, tribal boys doing a skit, martial arts - it was awesome. "This is the kind of thing I would love my son to see because this is the culture of India and if he can see this, he would know the heritage of the place where he comes from. I think that is really important for him, " said Sonali, who has earlier judged Sony's music-based reality show "Indian Idol". Apart from spending time with her son and husband as well as judging the reality shows, 35-year-old Sonali satisfies her creative instincts by working on her play "Aap Ki Soniya" along with seasoned actor Farooque Sheikh. But she has no immediate plans to get back to the big screen. "I go to Bangkok in between the auditions of the show for my play - I get my creative satisfaction when I do the play. I am not interested in films right now, " she said. Sonali forayed into Hindi films with the 1994 movie "Aag" and later featured in films like "Duplicate", "Major Saab", "Zakhm", "Hum Saath Saath Hain", "Sarfarosh" and "Chori Chori".

Priyanka developed cold feet over a steamy love scene

While she is travelling all around the world and meeting famous people, Freida Pinto, heroine of the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, feels Mumbai will always be her home. "I don't have a fixed address as I'm making movies all over the world. I'm filming in Israel at the moment and who knows after that, so I'm not making plans to buy my own place yet, " dailymail quoted Freida as saying. "Ultimately, Mumbai will always be home. That's where my family is, " she added. The 24-year-old actress is presently working on a film, "Miral", in Israel and has also been signed by Woody Allen for an untitled film to be shot in London. Freida, a model and a travel show presenter in India, said when she auditioned for Danny Boyle's "Slumdog...", she didn't know that it would become such a big hit. "I had no idea 'Slumdog Millionaire' would become such a huge success. In fact, when we were filming, none of us expected it, so the feeling of surprise and shock is still with me." "The film won eight Oscars and I was nominated for Best Supporting actress at the Baftas, and now, when I look back at photographs in magazines of me at the film awards I can still hardly believe it's me, " she added. Frieda Pinto who has been romantically linked to her co-star Dev Patel says he is a great guy but stops short of admitting their relationship. Dev's mother recently confirmed that Pinto-Patel are dating each other but 24-year-old star still calls Dev as her co- star. "One thing I have found difficult is the lack of privacy. I'm constantly asked if Dev and I are in a relationship, and I don't know what to say, " Pinto said. "He's a really, really, great guy, and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful co-star. Glittering end to IPL 2 with Bollywood fusion, but no Shilpa

Unlike the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League 2 (IPL) series in Cape Town five weeks ago, where there was almost no Bollywood entertainment, the fusion of Bollywood, Caribbean and American entertainment at the closing ceremony at the Wanderers Stadium here Sunday night was a glittering event. But the widely-advertised appearance of Shilpa Shetty with American rap singer Akon did not happen, with no explanation about the deviation from the programme by organisers. Katrina Kaif joined reggae music legend Eddy Grant as he sang his anti-apartheid hit "Gimme Hope Jo'anna", which became an anthem in the days when the white minority government of South Africa strictly regulated everything from music and song to social gatherings. Choreographer Shiamak Davar also showed some musical talent as he sang the song with Grant. IPL supremo Lalit Modi also ended up on the stage with them in the finale, as huge lanterns rose into the sky amid amazing pyrotechnics and lasers surrounding high-wire acrobats. Miss Bollywood IPL South Africa, Dune Kossatz, crowned at a gala ceremony Saturday night, showed off her spectacular crown, designed by Gitanjali Jewellers, made of gold, silver, diamond and other precious stones as she joined other finalists in presenting specially designed outfits by acclaimed Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani.

After few days Kay Kay called Mallika and told her that he found the script interesting and that he was confident that she would make a good film but he cannot see himself in that part that she has offered him in the film. It is then learnt that Mallika who is not used to hearing a NO hung up on him in the middle of the conversation even before he could give reasons for not doing the film."
