Priyanka Chopra does a Matrix stunt in Drona?

It is known news that Priyanka Chopra is playing the body guard of Abhishek Bachchan in Drona. But we have found that her role in the film is modelled completely on the Trinity character played by actress Carrie-Ann Moss in the super hit Matrix series films.

Sources reveal, “Priyanka Chopra’s character in the film is shown well versed in the ancient Sikh martial arts called Gatka. She even took special training in it to bring authenticity to her action sequences. Her role requires her to tap down Abhishek Bachchan in Europe and make him realise his hidden potential of a super hero. Then on she is always there to protect Abhishek from the evil forces headed by the villain in the film, Kay Kay Menon. There are many scenes between her and Abhishek in Drona which will remind viewers of Matrix 1 where Trinity first meets Neo (played by Keanu Reeves) and then on inspires him to realise his full potential of being “the one”. Her entry in the film too begins just like Trinity’s in Matrix where she tries saving the hero from the evil ones who are out to get him. Priyanka is not new to action roles. She was last seen doing action on screen in Farhan Akhtar’s Don.”

Vidya Balan taking tutions in Ishkiyaan

Vidya Balan is presently taking tutions in a particular UP dialect for her upcoming film, Ishkiyaan. The film stars Vidya opposite Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah. Vidya’s role in the film has a few grade shades and she is supposed to fool the uncle-nephew duo of Naseer and Arshad in it. Ishkiyaan is produced by Vishal Bharadwaj and directed by his assistant director Abhishek Chaubey.

Our source reveals, “When Vidya was given the final draft of the script, she expressed her inability to be very fluent in mouthing the UP dialect which one saw in Vishal’s Omkara which was incidentally co-written by Ishkiyaan director Abhishek Chaubey along with Vishal. The trio then mutually agreed upon having a tutor for Vidya for 15 days to get her well versed with the language and speak in the right dialect. Vidya is a South Indian but she is picking up the language very fast. The film shoot begins from mid October.”

Konkona Sen had faced the same language problem when shooting for Omkara and that time, Vishal had taught the language himself. Konkona had gone on to bag the Best Supporting Actress National Award for that role. Looks like Vidya might just do that!

Special language lessons to learn a specific UP dialect for her upcoming next, Ishkiyaan. This Vishal Bharadwaj production directed by his assistant Abhishek Chaubey stars Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi along with Vidya.

Our source revealed, “Vishal and Abhishek have written the script of Ishkiya. The film has the same lingo that one saw (heard) in Vishal’s Omkara (2006). When the script was narrated to Vidya first, she had her apprehensions about her ability to be deliver the lines fluently in that chaste UP dialect. The actress’ mother tongue is South Indian and though she speaks Hindi well, she is not so comfortable speaking the rural UP lingo. Vishal and Vidya then mutually agreed upon having a special tutor for her to learn the lingo and achieve the perfect tone of delivering it. The film is going to shot in parts of eastern UP and in Delhi from next month. Vidya is expected to master her command over the dialect by then.”

One can remember Konkona Sen Sharma too having the same problem of delivering her lines in the required UP dialect in Omkara being a Bengali. Vishal had then tutored her himself for somedays and gave her confidence. Konkona went on to win a National Award for her role in Omkara.

I am a very romantic person: Soha Ali Khan

Starting her career with 2004 released flick Dil Mange More, Soha Ali Khan is still struggling to make her name count amongst the top actresses of tinsel town. Let’s try to peek into the personal life of this gorgeous actress.

Q. You don’t seem to be bothered by rumours?
A. That might stem from the fact that my family has been in the public light for many years now. Hence we very well know how some sections of the media, especially tabloid, functions and how to ignore them. Some smart people use such magazines for their own publicity by making provocative statements and then denying them later knowing very well that the public has already heard it. So, it doesn’t matter what others are talking about.

Q. Who is your favourite personal designer?
A. I don’t like anybody in particular. I sometimes even mix a Versace skirt with a streetside top. I will wear anything that catches my fancy. On the whole, I am a very casual person — mostly you will see me in jeans and kurtis. For the evening I prefer saris.

Q. Do you take advice from your mother and brother before signing a film?
A. Yes, I always take their view points before signing on any new project.

Q. How well do you jell with your brother Saif?
A. Just like other siblings, Bhai and I used to fight a lot, but nowadays since we hardly get time to meet each other, whenever we do we have a lot to catch up with. Though we try not to talk about movies, we end up discussing the same.

Q. Your take on Saif as an actor?
A. He is one great actor and has this uncanny ability where despite playing greyish and negative characters [Ek Haseena Thi, Omkara], he does not have the audience hating him.

Q. If given a chance, which of your mother’s films would you want to act in — if remade?
A. Personally, I don’t support remakes unless you can better the original. Making that clear, I would like to try my hands at Amma’s Mausam and Amar Prem.

Q. It looks like you are in complete awe of your mom?
A. You bet. She is such a great lady who has successfully handled both work and family. Besides this she is also actively involved in social welfare. She is also such a great dresser. Even now when we dress for a party I have to be doubly sure to dress as good as she dresses. Compared to her wardrobe mine is nothing. She has a great choice in clothes, bags, shoes, etc.

Q. The success of Rang De Basanti has changed your career graph. Has it not?
A. Absolutely. I am being offered a whole variety of roles which range from practical to interesting to downright outrageous.

Q. What do you mean by outrageous?
A. (Laughs) You media folks are always looking for some kind of controversy. What I meant by outrageous were the kind of roles which I would not be comfortable doing.

Q. What do you do in your spare time?
A. I just love to read anything — be it an autobiography or something interesting like Pulp Fiction (Fredrick Forsyth).

Q. Your relationship with your dad?
A. Dad and I share a similar nature. While Mom just snaps, Dad and I don’t lose our cool easily. I discuss almost everything with him — be it politics, sports, history, religion or just anything under the sun but films.

Q. Can you cook?
A. If you consider boiling, then I am a cook for I can make very good boiled eggs and pasta. Since I studied in England, I had to learn basic cooking like dal chaaval to fend for myself.

Q. What do your parents think of you?
A. My parents are very happy knowing that their daughter is very grounded and a smart person who knows what she wants. But being folks, they worry about me and would be much happier if I quit films and went back to my corporate job with Citibank.

Q. Are you a romantic person?
A. Yes, I am a very romantic person. Although there is no one currently with whom I can be romantic with.

Kangana Ranaut's bald act!

After a handful of actresses like Shabana Azmi, Nandita Das, Lisa Ray and Seema Biswas it's bold and beautiful Kangana Ranaut who is being touted to go bald for a movie.

According to the hottest scuttlebutt of B–town, a reputed production house down south has offered Kangana Rs 1 crore plus to get the bald look for a new Tamil action–packed thriller. Actually Kangana Ranaut 's first taste of success with a south Indian movie DHOOM DHAM has made her popular among the directors of South. So considering her mounting popularity down south the makers of this action thriller have readily offered her a lucrative amount provided she goes bald for some sequences in the film.

Though Kangana has not yet given her nod, but she is definitely considering giving it a try. After all such rare opportunities (with handsome offer and a meaty role in the film) don't fall in place at the same time always.

Has Priyanka moved from Akshay to Abhishek?

There was a time when Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar 'jodi' spelt success in each of their outings. All their films were successful at the box office until there were clear signals that Akshay won't be working with Priyanka again in future. While Akshay quickly moved on to Katrina Kaif and started delivering even bigger successes with her, Priyanka did get a jolt but recovered to work with Shah Rukh Khan [DON], Hrithik Roshan [KRISSH], Salman Khan [SALAAM-E-ISHQ].

However, the man with whom she went on to sign maximum number of films has been Abhishek Bachchan. After BLUFFMASTER which turned out to be a decent box office runner, Priyanka now has two movies with Abhishek lined up for release. These are DRONA and DOSTANA. Both the films would be releasing within six weeks of each other. While DRONA arrives on 2nd October, DOSTANA is confirmed for 14th November.

The two films are quite different from each other though. DRONA is a fantasy/mythological action thriller and has Priyanka playing Abhishek's bodyguard. Though there is a love angle to their coming together, the film, as per the makers, centers itself on the theme of 'one man's (Drona) spectacular voyage through the labyrinths of mystic myths and legendary legacies.'

DOSTANA is chilled out though by miles as it sees Abhishek and John Abraham getting into a hilarious one-on-one (pun intended) as they masquerade as gays with Priyanka being the center of attraction. A fun film that comes from the house of Karan Johar and is directed by debutant Tarun Mansukhani, DOSTANA would be third release of Abhishek this year (after SARKAR RAJ) where he features as a protagonist and sixth outing for Priyanka after LOVE STORY 2050, GOD TUSSI GREAT HO, CHAMKU, FASHION and DRONA. It would be John Abraham's first release of 2008 though after his DHAN DHANA DHAN GOAL in late 2007.

Coming back to Abhishek and Priyanka, one can expect them to be seen in many more films to come if DRONA and DOSTANA turn out to be twice the reason for celebrations for the two youngsters

Kareena Kapoor’s Yoga schedule goes for a toss

Kareena Kapoor has been daily practicing Yoga for last few years now. She has also often credited her ’size zero’ look to Power Yoga. But from the last few days and some weeks ahead it doing her daily dose of Yoga has become practically impossible for the actress.

Sources inform, “Kareena is presently in Ladakh shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots. She has for company Aamir Khan and Madhavan but not her regular Yoga companion, that’s her Yoga instructor Payal Gidwani. Whenever Kareena goes for an abroad shoot like she went in the last few months to Australia for Main Aur Mrs Khanna, London and San Francisco for Kambakht Ishq and Thailand for Golmaal Returns either Payal or another colleague of Payal’s went with Kareena to give her company for doing her daily yoga routine. Since she is alone there in the climate being extremely cold there and the air to being very thin her daily Yoga schedule has gone for a toss! But she intends to cover it up all once she is back in Mumbai. Generally her

Yoga schedule begins a warm up followed by Surya Namaskar variations. Then she does exercises for each of her body part and concluding it all with breathing exercises like Pranayam.”

“If one notices Kareena now she has put on a bit more weight and is not the ’size zero’ girl any more. She has begun to eat her favourite Thai and Chinese cuisines once again regularly. But at the same time she is also making sure she follows it up all with regular exercises.” the source concludes.

Geeta Basra Undergoes Surgery

In her pursuit to get the perfect body shape, Geeta Basra ended up damaging a part of it, albeit slightly, over the weekend gone by. During one of her routine evenings in a gym, she dropped a weight on her foot, hence resulting in a damaged bone.

“It was so awful. For a moment I just blanked out. I just didn’t know what hit me, pun intended”, says Geeta Basra who otherwise has kept a clean record when it comes to accidents, “I am such a globe trotter and still have considered myself to be accident-proof. And look at what has happened now!”

Trying to recover from the pain she has been feeling ever since she damaged her toe, Geeta has horror stories to tell about her experience during the mini-operation she went through.

“Can you believe it”, she exclaims, “I thought it would require normal procedures to fix the bone but I was shocked to see myself being carried away to an operation theater. I had a friend with me and was constantly enquiring if this was indeed required. Imagine my horror when I actually found myself in an operation theater with all the gadgetry and lights around. Thankfully it didn’t last long but for whatever duration it was on, it was hardly funny.”

With a bandaged toe, Geeta has been advised complete bed rest for at least a fortnight before she even starts walking around freely, let alone hitting the gym.

“All my plans for watching ‘Rock On’ have gone kaput now”, rues Geeta, “I couldn’t catch it in the fortnight gone by due to my other engagements and just when I was placing plans for this week, an accident had to happen. I guess it would be a little while from now before I start hanging out again.”

What made 1920 a success at box office?

1920 has clicked and quite a few detractors in the industry are left wondering about the reason behind the film’s success. After all the film had Vikram Bhatt tag to it, the name which had seen 10 consecutive flops to his name in last 6 years. The film only featured newcomers, who were neither star-children nor heavily hyped. Adnan Sami’s music hardly did wonders to the film’s pre-release hype while the Ramzan/Ganesh Chaturthi period was hardly considered to be conducive to a film’s theatrical run.

So what really worked in the film’s favor? One basic thing - Smart packaging!

Vikram Bhatt and company knew what they were offering - a horror thriller which relief on chills and spooky moments. This is what they capitalized on from Day one of the film’s promotion. The first thing they did right was to come up with a brilliantly designed coffee table book which was circulated amongst select media people and friends. The book pretty much declared the mood of the film and made people talking about what Vikram Bhatt had in the offering. Then began the promos which quickly moved on from song and dance routine to the ‘real’ stuff which very much showed the audience what 1920 was made of.

To begin with the promos started giving hints of the spooky feel that 1920 carried. However, as 10 days remained for the release of the film, the makers went full on with the promotion and released numerous promos that made it loud and clear that 1920 would be one scary film to watch in theaters. Background music, sound design, special effects, cutting edge frames - all of this came together in those few seconds which enticed audience enough to walk into the theaters and enjoy the spine chilling moments.

This is what happened as the film took a decent start at the box office. Good word of mouth took the case forward for this medium budget film and as the first week comes to an end today, the writing is clear on the wall that 1920 has succeeded at the box office. The content worked wonders yet again, just like PHOONK, MUMBAI MERI JAAN and ROCK ON in last few weeks, in spite of no stars to boast of

Magic in Smilie Suri’s life

Smilie Suri is a real softie at heart. When she heard about the abuse for a female dog, she immediately went ahead to offer her home and her heart to this cross between Chihuwawa and a stray dog. Comments Smilie, “when I went to pick her up, she simple cowered away and started whining. Poor baby was tortured. The owners had brought her for their kid who was least interested in her. And they had kept her locked in the balcony since past 4 months. She would cry all the day long.” Even once Smilie had brought her into her own home and shown to the vet for various skin problems, this dog would just sit in the corner shivering. “It took her more than a month to feel secure and now she plays with me and my other dog mumbo. I named her magic because it’s a magic that she is still alive, inspite of so much of abuse.”

Earlier too, Smilie had adopted a fox terrier and named him Mumbo. So what next Smilie? Do we expect a Mantra next?

Minissha is not a bikini girl in real liffe

Minissha likes to be 17. She played a 17 year old girl in her recent success Bachna Ae Haseeno and even in her forthcoming film Kidnap, she is enjoying enacting the role of a girl of the same age.

"However, apart from the age factor, there is absolutely nothing else common between the two characters that I portray on screen for the two films", says Minissha who has consistently impressed critics and audience alike with her performances in Yahaan, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd, Dus Kahaniyaan, Shaurya and very recently Bachna Ae Haseeno, "Sonia of Kidnap is so very different from Mahi of Bachna Ae Haseeno even though both are in their growing up years."

Revealing more about the contrasting parts that she has played in the two films, Minissha says, "In Bachna..., I was this sweet girl with moony eyes who is looking for togetherness in life from the first guy she falls in love with ever.

She is unable to ever forget her first love. On the other hand in Kidnap, my character is that of a hip girl who parties hard, is quite sassy and overall energetic. She never lets a dull moment around her."

Since she is in her early 20s, where does she see herself in real life? Is she the 'bindaas' Sonia from Kidnap who doesn't mind getting into a bikini once on beach?

Laughs Minissha, "In real life I am somewhere between Mahi and Sonia.

I am not that dreamy and demure or overtly outrageous. I am rather pragmatic in real life and know what is possible in real world and what's not. I am actually quite grounded to reality and that's the way I like things to be."

How easy or difficult then it is to portray something on screen which is not your real self?

"Of what I have learnt in 3 years of my professional career here in Bollywood, I understand that the whole point is about how you are perceived in the industry. I am liking the way I am experimenting with my roles and appearances", says Minissha.

Talking about her future plans, Minissha says on a parting note, "There is stuff in the pipeline for sure but at the moment, all my energy and focus is on Kidnap."

Q. One quality which is a must for your man?
A. Respect for me, my work and of course my parents.

Q. What if he reacts sharply to your tag of being a ‘Sex Bomb’?
A. He can go to hell! (Laughs) See, my guy would know that whatever I am doing is just acting onscreen and nothing more. Hence he would trust me implicitly.

Q. What would you prefer ? brains or brawn?
A. He should be intelligent, but not a nerd, otherwise he would talk stuff like nuclear physics, which would go over my head.

Q. Is a sense of humour a must?
A. That goes without saying for, after a hard day’s work when I meet my guy, he should be able to ease my tensions with his jokes.

Q. Would you allow him to flirt?
A. As long as it’s harmless flirting, it’s okay. Even I would make a comment if I find a hot guy. So, it’s okay as long as it’s within a limit.

Q. How important would calls and SMSes be in your relationships?
A. As oxygen is to life. I would call him 10 times a day and would text him ‘’ number of times. This way he will know that I remember him.

Q. How long would you wait to take your relationship to a new level (read: jump into his bed)?
A. At least a month. For only then you come to know the person’s true nature, as initially everybody puts his best foot forward.

Q. Do you think that metrosexual men are sissy?
A. No, of late most men take special care of their looks and it’s good. Unfortunately, there are still some men who don’t even bother looking at the mirror before stepping out.

Q.Where would you want to go for a passionate romantic getaway?
A. A very private and romantic place, where it’s just him and me, surrounded by beautiful nature.

Bollywood's hottest hunks who dared to bare

Salman Khan
It would not be fair to start with any other actor except Salman Khan. After all, he is the one who started it nearly two decades ago.

Even in his first few films like Baaghi, Suryavanshi and Nishchay, this gawky looking teenager didn't mind flaunting his body( though he wasn't really muscular and beefed-up then).Post that films like Veergati and Judwaa saw the emergence of the new and muscular Salman.

However, the turning point in his chest-flaunting career was the 'Oh Oh Jaane Jaana' song in Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, which took the nation by storm and marked the arrival of Bollywood's first bare-chested hunk.

Post that, it became usual for Sallu to drop his shirt in every other film. The trend has not stopped and even his upcoming release Hello features Salman going bare-chested and shouting 'Bang Bang Bang'.

Saif Ali Khan
When he started out with films like Aashiq Awara and Parampara, many slotted Saif Ali Khan as the chocolate boy romantic hero. In fact, not many would have even believed that within a matter of few years, he would go on to become one of the leading hunks of tinsel town.

After a string of flops, Saif's career was going nowhere till Dil Chahta Hai happened and the rest as they say is history. Soon, from being cute Saif was termed as uber cool. However Saif sprung yet another surprise when he went bare-chested in the title track of Salaam Namaste.

Suddenly from being cute to being cool, Saif was now considered HOT. The 'Chhote Nawab' worked out even harder and films like Race and Tashan have seen him flaunting his chiseled body even as the girls in the audience go gaga. This boy has surely grown into a Man or should we say Hunk.

Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh is known to be a fighter; After all, how else do you explain someone who is above 40 years going all out and acquiring 6 pack abs at his son's behest.

While many thought it was quite a Herculean task, SRK proved them wrong and as soon as the first promos of the 'Dard-e-Disco' song were unveiled, Bollywood had found its middle-aged bare-chested hunk.

Girls couldn't get enough of seeing their favorite superstar in this new toned avatar and soon every actor worth his salt was seen flocking to the nearest gym. Om Shanti Om turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters and 'Dard-e-Disco' & SRK's 6-pack abs surely had a major contribution in that.

Hrithik Roshan
The new millennium gave us a new star- Hrithik Roshan. With a launch pad like Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Hrithik couldn't have asked for more. He was appreciated for his looks, his acting, his dancing, and even his amazing physique.

The next few films like Fiza, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage saw a beefed up Hrithik flaunting his biceps and chest muscles to the maximum. He even went bare-chested in the Rajshri dud Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon but didn't find too many takers.

However with changing times, Duggu too went in for the well-toned and chiseled look and when the first look of Dhoom 2 was unveiled, all eyes were fixed only on Hrithik flaunting his picture perfect 6-pack abs. This actor had surely arrived as one of the hottest Bollywood hunks in a real big way.

Even recently in the period drama Jodhaa Akbar, Hrithik flaunted his physique in that stupendous fight sequence with a violent elephant. At the end of it, even the poor elephant fell for his charm.

John Abraham
People often say, "Models cant act" However one thing, which most models have, is a well-toned and chiseled body. John Abraham was no exception. This former Grasim Mr. India winner made a sensational debut with Jism opposite Bipasha Basu.

In his first film itself, John displayed his torso with élan and had the girls drooling over his physique. John kept working on his acting and physique simultaneously and the results were there for all to see.

Like Salman Khan, most of John's films like Paap, Elaan, Garam Masala, Zinda featured him in a bare-chested shot. His recent release No Smoking may not have found many takers but who can forget that scene in which John coolly stands bare-chested in front of a mirror and lights up a ciggie.

However, the talk of the town is the physique that the hunk has acquired for his forthcoming film Dostana. The first promos showed a beefed up, bare-chested John emerging out of the beach and you cant help but notice the chiseled V-shaped torso and those picture-perfect abs.

This hunk surely has been an inspiration for many young guys to hit the gym.

Ranbir Kapoor
Many actors seem to have certain inhibitions about dropping their shirt and going bare-chested. However new kid on the block Ranbir Kapoor didn't have any hesitation in not just going bare-chested but even dropping his towel in his debut film Saawariya

. In spite of the famous towel dropping shot facing the brunt of the censors, Ranbir with his boy-next door looks, six-pack abs became the latest pin-up boy in Bollywood, What's more, the Kapoor dude even repeated his bare-chested act in his latest flick Bachna Ae Haseeno as he serenades lady love Deepika Padukone to the soulful tunes of 'Khuda Jaane'.

This young lad indeed has it all, good looks, amazing acting talent and of course a lean and chiseled physique.

Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar has always believed in sporting a lean and mean look rather than a muscular look. What's more, the actor himself has gone on record saying that its sports like running and martial arts that he follows to keep fit, rather than hitting the gym and lifting weights.

The fact that he doesn't have a really beefed up built like some of his contemporaries, has not deterred Akki from dropping his shirt. In fact, in his first few films like Saugandh and Khiladi, Akki has given bare-chested shots. He was quite thin then.

By the time Main Khiladi Tu Anadi released, Akshay had a decent athletic frame and girls immediately took a liking to this handsome looking hunk.

In recent times, his 'Dil Samandar' song along with John in Garam Masala surely sent the temperatures soaring and even in his forthcoming film Blue, we may get to see a bare-chested Akki doing some dare devil underwater stunts.

A few weeks back, Akki set the ramp on fire as he displayed his chiseled torso while modeling for Levi's 501 brand of jeans. Must say looking hot and sexy is surely in Akshay's genes.

Katrina and Shah Rukh Khan in a Yash Raj film?

Katrina Kaif seems to be riding the crest of a bright new wave of success. The things have been happening to her career within just a matter of time, sometimes surrounding like a fairytale coming true.

She has given six blockbusters back to back in the recent times and as a result she has been signing some of the very best films.

The actress seems to have her kitty full of projects and directors and actors are just dying to work with her.

If the latest hearsay is something to go by then the actress has apparently bagged the lead role in a film which will be directed by the eternal romantic filmmaker of the Indian silver screen, Yash Chopra.

Sorry, but there is no sex in Sensex: Tanushree

One catches Tanushree Dutta in a chirpy mood as she talks about her latest arrival Saas Bahu Aur Sensex. She exclaims that this film directed by Shona Urvashi may end up disappointing a few. Reason being that from a title comprising of the word 'Sensex', some may expect a bit of sex element in the film as well.

"I am considered to be a sex symbol and I take pride in the fact that audience does expect me to be seen in particular kind of roles where I bring on the oomph.

However, I am sorry to say that Saas Bahu Aur Sensex doesn't have any sex in it even though the word 'sex' does come into picture", winks Tanushree who came with quite a bang with films like Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Chocolate.

"However, I am quite a different individual in Saas Bahu Aur Sensex and truly enjoyed being a part of this cinema," says Tanushree who has for the first time worked with a woman director, Shona Urvashi, in the film.

"From the entire look to make up to general appearance, I have gone through a change. Unlike majority of my films which have featured me as an 'ultra oomphy' Diva-ish kind of a character, Saas Bahu Aur Sensex has me in a contrasting avatar altogether."

"It was fun to be playing someone who you could meet while walking on a street rather than someone who is larger than life,” says Tanushree.

She also reveals that the humor in this latest film of hers is on the same lines as that of Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na.

"I play a young girl who belongs to an Indian metro and share a normal relationship with her mother (played by Kirron Kher). The best part about the film is that neither is it women-centric, nor does it get its drive from a hero-heroine angle per se."

Confident that the film would strike gold with the urban audience, Tanushree declares, "Saas Bahu Aur Sensex is for those who want to watch something that isn't run of the mill.

It is meant for an urban audience and its light hearted narrative would ensure that college students as well as adults get an ample share of laugh."
