Pragjyoti Samal:India’s first crorepatni at Kya Aap Paaanchvi Paas se Tez Hai

Pragjyoti Samal won big amount of one crore on the set of Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai. This 24 years old girl is from the city Bhubaneshwar but she is working in Kolkatta as software engineer. She is the first woman who won one crore in the reality show. We should call her India’s first crorepatni.

Star plus had not disclosed the identity of that woman when this episode was shot on May 5.The reason for not disclosing the name of that woman is just to maintain secrecy and surprise for the audience.

The coming news tells that Pragjyoti has resigned from the job who previously working with Cognizant Technology Solutions in Kolkata. Her resignation from the job is not related with her big prize money. Now she has came back to her home in Bhubneshwar.

Samal said, “In the IT world there is lot of flexibility and needs extra efforts and job in this sector is very challenging.” She added, “Except my mother who is with me at the time of shooting know what happened on the show. We didn’t tell the winning amount to the other family members as per the channel requirement. Now we will together watch the show on TV and there is a big surprise for the members of the family.

Pragjyoti was the lucky person from millions of contestants who had just SMS to the question which appear on the screen to get the entry in the show. All contestants need to appear for the test on on phone,followedby written test and need camera audition round for getting entry in the show.

Pragjyoti has not yet decided what she will do with the winning amount. The cheque of the winning amount will be handed over to her after the episode telecast. She said, “While playing the game she took lot of risks and she got the good returns from all her risks and made it true that high risk high return. Everyone on the set including SRK was happy and excited for me.”

About Shahrukh Khan, the host of the show, she said, “As we all know he is king of bollywood but he is also a good host for the show. While playing game he encouraged me a lot and giving me proper support while taking correct decision. Till now I know him as an actor but in real sense I know him today as an actor and as a human being.”

Small budget films gaining popularity in bollywood

Small budget films are getting popularity these days and film lovers really like them. The creative concepts have got them title of thinking films and these small budget films are really a revolution in bollywood.

From past few years we have witnessed that films having huge budget, Big star cast and shot on foreign location not able to make their presence felt in the audience and their box-office reports were very poor. Big budget films producers have to suffer huge loss and latest example of such a film is Tashan who’s such big star cast not able to attract fans to theaters. On the other hand films like Iqbal, Johnny Gaddar and Khosla Ka Ghosla even without big star cast and with small budget have done extremely a good job on box office and add revenues to produces pocket.

These days audience is accepting the films having great stories have clicked most so Filmmakers have to admit that even without big star cast and huge budget they can make profits. If we check out the reports we will find success ratio of small budget films are higher than big budget films.
As per the reports films like Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday box-office collection was about 8 to 9 crore while about 6.5 crore were spent on this film. Another film like Johnny Gaddar directed by Sriram Raghvan cost was around 2.5 crore but its collections were around 4.5 crore. Such small budget films have also won even National awards like Khosla Ka Ghosla won a national award which was a big achievement.

Even Aamir on success rate of small budget movies was impressed and he quoted,” Trend of making small budget is becoming popular and I will also be interested in doing such different approach films.”
