Bollywood superstar Salman Khan says he feels awkward while doing romantic scenes with his real life girlfriend Katrina Kaif .
“For the first time, in Yuvraaj we have been paired as a romantic lead. However, I feel awkward. Besides, the audience would feel that the real life girlfriend-boyfriend story is being played on the screen,” Salman told reporters on the sets of his new film Veer at Mehboob studios.

Speaking about ‘Veer’, Salman said he has written the script for the film. “It is a period film about men and honour. It also has comedy,” he said.
To a question on why he opted for Anil Sharma as a director for ‘Veer’, Salman said Katrina suggested Sharma’s name as she had worked with him earlier (in Apne ).
When asked about his role in God Tussi Great Ho releasing today, Salman said it was a comedy where the protagonist is forever complaining to God.
To a question on whether he speaks to God in real life, the actor said he does so in real life too and some times people think he has gone mad.
