Love Story 2050 had its premiere in London

Harman Baweja is all set for grand debut to Hindi film industry. Harry Baweja didn’t left anything to make successful debut of his son. Promotion of the film was awesome and they also launched kids merchandise to attract kid’s audience to the film and making it big for his son Harman Baweja debut film Love Story 2050 premiered at a West London theatre on Wednesday.

Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani walked the red carpet with ease but Harman Baweja was looking bit nervous. Priyanka Chopra was dressed in black with silver jewelry on it and she was looking hot as ever and it was looking as she was participating in a beauty contest.

On occasion of premier, Harman Said”, I was bit nervous but seeing such a positive response from fans now I am really excited.”

On other side Priyanka Chopra was really happy and she said”, It’s good to be in London again and happy to see so many people here and excited by seeing their response.”

Love Story 2050 will hit the silver screen on July 4 and hope it will work well and fans will get some good movie after so many flops from last few weeks.

Shilpa Shetty collected 63000 pounds through kisses for charity purpose

Recently, the hot and sexy Shilpa Shetty won the Global Diversity Award 2008 which was held in London and during the function, she announced to sell her ‘kiss on cheek’ for the charity purpose. She got the appreciation from the public for his kind act.

This hot actress won the global diversity award accompanied with British racing driver Lewis Hamilton for her contribution globally. This actress was able to win the popularity outside India after winning the title of Big Brother.Beside this; the beautiful actress also helps the organizers of the function in collecting 63000 pounds for the charity, this charity amount will given to Silver Star Appeal who runs the mobile diabetes assessment units.

Shilpa Shetty took the dinner with British Prime Minister Gorden brown at Wembley immediately after the charity auction in the function; she has announced that the winner would get the kiss from me but on the cheek. She found it better to declare it that the kiss will be on cheek. Because there had been lot of controversy created at the time when Hollywood star Richard Gere kissed her in public during an AIDS awareness event in capital. Hindu Nationalists filed a case against her so she didn’t want to create any further confusion.

A young man donated 12500 pounds for the dinner and received three kisses from the sexy Shilpa Shetty on the cheek.

Shah Rukh Khan to play Dus Ka Dum with Salman!

The Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan, who is also the host of Kya aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai will play in Dus Ka Dum which is hosted by his close friend Salman Khan. When Salman Khan called Shahrukh to play in his show Dus Ka Dum then he accepted immediately to play the game with Salman. He is working very hard to gain the TRP of the show and inviting Bollywood stars is one of the formulas to increase TRP.

Till now Salman has invited many popular celebrities on the show which includes Indian players Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan singh. Salman also played with Aamir Khan and his nephew Imraan Khan. Three khans played very well and created great fun on the show Dus Ka Dum. Now he is planning to play the game with Rani and Preity so for this conversation is going on with the organizers of the show.

It is expected that the three bollywood star Rani, Preity and Shahrukh will play Dus Ka Dum with Salman in the month of August. Shahrukh gave his acceptance because of his friend Salman. Just like Salman, Shahrukh has also the opportunity to invite Salman in reality show Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai which helps him in increasing the TRP of his show.

Aadesh’s Song with Abhishek and Wyclef Jean

Aadesh has entered into an agreement with Motorola for a commercial to promote his first international track ‘Bollywood Meets Hollywood‘ with American rapper Wyclef Jean and Abhishek Bachchan. The song will hit the stores in the India in July under the Sony –BMG label. The song will feature the trio- Abhishek, Aadesh and Wyclef Jean. Aadesh is very excited about his track and says, “The track is part of my album with Wyclef entitled Carnival 2. As you know Wyclef and I flew down to Miami to record the number with Abhishek who was shooting there for Karan Johar’s film. ‘Bollywood Meets Hollywood’ is already a craze abroad. Youtube is filled with the song. We’ve big plans for the song in India. I hope it would be like a singing launch for Abhishek.”
Aadesh also plans to tie up with other international super-artistes like Justin Timberlake in the near future.

Shilpa Shetty awarded Britain?s Global Diversity Award

Racing driver Lewis Hamilton and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty have been awarded Britain’s Global Diversity award for 2008 for their contribution to the diversity agenda. Shetty became famous in Britain last year after she was subjected to alleged bullying and racism in the television reality show “Celebrity Big Brother”. Her treatment - by some other participants in the popular show - became the subject of a heated row in India.

However, she was universally praised by British commentators for showing restraint. Hamilton was also subjected to racial abuse. On Feb 4 this year, he was racially abused by spectators during pre-season testing at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain. The Federation Internationale de l’Automobile FIA) warned the Spanish authorities about such behaviour and announced it would launch a ‘Race Against Racism’ campaign.

The awards are to presented Tuesday night at an event to be attended by British Foreign Minister David Miliband MP and Culture Minister Andy Burnham among others. The event is being hosted by the Next Steps Foundation, an organisation established 10 years ago by MPs Bernie Grant and Keith Vaz to encourage diversity in both the public and private sectors.

The evening will also highlight the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue that invites European nations to celebrate diversity in Europe.Vaz, who has been made British ambassador for the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, said both Shetty and Hamilton “faced adversity in their careers but have dealt with it with grace and dignity”.

What keeps you busy?
Work. I know it is a clichéd answer but it’s the truth. I’ve been working round the clock. It’s been back-to-back for the past few months. But I like it this way.There’s no time for idle talk or to brood.

Has your sexy image been a drawback in your career?
(Laughs ) I’ve enjoyed the sexy image for too long. Now it’s time to go celibate. Jokes aside.

The new directors aren’t interested in the image that’s been projected so far. For instance, Rohit Shetty saw a picture of mine in an Indian costume and cast me as a simple south Indian girl in Golmaal Returns.

Have you enjoyed the tag of a sex symbol?
Abroad, the term ‘sex symbol’ is associated with beauty. Here it’s a bit different. I don’t mind being called sexy but when it’s said that Mallika Sherawat is sexy.. please excuse me. Sorry, I don’t want to be in that bracket.

How do you work on your body?
By the grace of God,women in my family have been gifted with slender frames. But I do work out to keep my body toned. I have never ever been pencil thin, I don’t want to be either. I eat five-six times a day but I’m careful about what I eat. I don’t like bulges, so naturally I make sure I don’t have them.

Celina Jaitley and Fardeen KhanDo filmmakers always insist that you should wear sexy outfits?
I will not parade in a swimming costume just because a filmmaker wants me to. I wore a bikini in Jaanasheen because I had complete faith in Feroz Khan. I’ve worn a swimsuit in Money Hai To Honey Hai because it is required. Everyone in the film is wearing what he or she would in a pool.

Do you have any 4 am friends in the film industry?
I’ve good friends in the industry. Lara (Dutta), Govinda, Ravi Kissen and Manoj Bajpai. I don’t hang out with them every night. But I can confidently say that they are my 4 am friends. If I’m troubled about anything,

I can call them up any time of the day or night.

Your reaction to rumours about an affair with Govinda.
I don’t deny that I adore him, he has been my best co-star so far. I respect him. I’ve been his fan for a long time. But that doesn’t mean we are having an affair. It was a ridiculous rumour.

Celina Jaitley LostYou miss not having a man in your life?
I don’t miss a man till I see a couple which is happy together. Of course, I would love to be in love again. There are certain qualities I want in my man.. at least he should have the courtesy of picking up the cheque when he takes me out to dinner.

Which has been the most cheesy pick-up line used on you?
A guy came and said, “Excuse me.. can we be friends puhlease?” I told him to shut up. The one line that really worked. It was romantic, I was asked, “Will you be the mother of my babies?” I said yes. (Laughs ) But see, it didn’t work out because there are no babas or babies.

Would you proposition a man?
Never. I wouldn’t proposition a man till my dying day even if I was attracted to him. Call me old-fashioned but I want the man to make the first move and sweep me off my feet.

Your wish-list for three men who should make the first move.
( Smiles ) Jake Gyllenhaal. And I’m going to get into trouble for this, Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.

CelinaIsha Koppikar and you have been having problems on the sets of Hello Darling. True?
No. Iwould never carry my personal problems to the sets. I will never give a chance to my director to say that I’m unprofessional. Initially in my career, there were the usual insecurities about what the other heroine’s wearing and howshe’s looking. But I’ve learnt the hard way.. these things don’t matter. I’ve to wear whatever suits my character. I don’t let vanity vans and outfits become issues.. that would be much too petty.

Amrita Arora and Usman Afzal breakup

Actress Amrita Arora has hit a rough patch in her personal life. The actress who until recently seemed to have settled in with her boyfriend of four years-Usman Afzal, a London based cricketer has finally called it quits ending the innings on a sad note.


According to a news daily, the actress and her boyfriend are headed separate ways after undergoing a period full of strain recently. Apparently, it was a tough decision to make as both had been very much in love and committed to each other.

However, unlike the other glamorous break ups where a change of hearts often takes place, distance between these ex-lovebirds seems to have ruined this love affair.

Besides the distance, Amrita’s alleged link up with upcoming model Sahil shroff had reportedly not gone so well with Usman. Things turned further ugly when Amrita took off to shoot for a flick on Usman’s birthday.

In an interview, the actress confirmed the break up reports saying that the reports were true but she didn’t feel like talking about it. It seems Amrita has taken inspiration from her best friend Kareena who too went through the same a few months back!

Priyanka Chopra is all set to fire at Box office in 2008

If all her film releases stick to plan, November 2008 may will turn out to be the busiest month ever for Priyanka Chopra. The reson being that she has two of her films lined for release this winter. Worse, both these films arrive within a fortnight of each other. This means that if there is no change in the plans, it would create a record for a mainstream leading lady to see two huge releases arriving back to back.

The films in question are director Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, which is set for a November 14 release, followed by Dostana which will have its D day on November 21. Though Bhandarkar and UTV had made their intentions quite clear long time back about Fashion’s release date, the announcement of Karan Johar’s Dostana has comes as a surprise. With both films being biggies and with such huge money involved, it certainly doesn’t look like a good business decision to have both films eating into each other’s business, especially as they have the same leading lady.

While Fashion revolves around Priyanka, with Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse and Arjan Bajwa providing her ample support; Dostana has three leading men Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Bobby Deol, along with Priyanka. An interesting sidelight is that the film Victory, which stars Priyanka’s boyfriend, Harman Baweja, is also slated for a November 14 release, making it a lover’s clash at the box office. On the other hand, it may well lead to trouble in paradise for the father son ‘jodi’ of the Bachchans as Abhishek’s Dostana would be clashing with the Big B’s Aladdin and the Mystery of the Lamp on November 21. Yes, we can already see some huge juggling around the release dates this November!
