“Bollywood seems to have taken to numerology in a big way. After all, how do you explain most film titles being ‘numerologically’ corrected these days with an added ‘extra’ alphabet or spelling the name ‘differently’? After Kambakkht Ishq and Shortkut last week, now comes Jashnn (The initial publicity of the film was without the extra ‘N’),” says Bhavikk.“The title Jashnn adds up to Number 20 which does not have a good meaning as per our numerological texts. It is mostly non-commercial. But yes, Number two is often associated with creativity and hence it seems the makers attempted to make a decent film,” explains the expert.
About the leading actor of the film he says, “Adhyayan Suman was born on Jan 13, 1988. That makes him a Number four in numerology. His destiny number also adds up the same number. He is also ruled by Number eight (Saturn – Capricorn). Currently in his 22nd year, Adhyayan is going through a transitory phase of his life where his focus can easily be distracted. His break up with Kangana Ranaut is in a way a good decision on his part as it would have only created more confusion in his life deciding where to focus his attention. Should he choose love or work?”
He further adds, “The year 2009 adds up to Number two which is one of Adhyayan’s best numbers. Hence his efforts will be noticed and even appreciated to an extent. As for Anjana Sukhani (December 10, 1978), she is also facing the same ‘rahu kaal’ in her 31st year which will bring her mixed results.”
“Luckily, the period between June 20-July 20 is the best time of the year to release any creative venture and Jashnn falls in that category. But alas! The year 2009 does not support anything to do with Number eight. The release date of the film is July 17, 2009. The sum total of this date also adds up to Number eight. This will hit the film really hard. In a nutshell, there will be no ‘jashnn’ this week in Bollywood!” concludes Sangghvi.

While shooting for Soham Shah’s Luck, a fast-paced action flick, Shruti Haasan was required to stand at the front of a moving train with her hands tied to the sides. In the scorching heat, with her back to the train and the metal burning into her skin, she ended up with blisters and boils. It was so hot that the heels of her boots started melting. But the actress shrugs it off. “It wasn’t the most comfortable situation but it’s the most fun I’ve had in the longest time,” she says.
