Shahid Kapoor’s film in trouble

Even as Shahid Kapoor is excited about his much-talked-about film Dil Bole Hadippa releasing next Friday, September 18, another film of his has run into trouble.The grapevine is abuzz with the news that Yash Raj Films next project starring Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma is in trouble due to disagreement between the producer and the director regarding the title of the film.

It is said that director Parmeet Sethi suggested Right Hand Man and Friends and Company for the title of the film but Aditya Chopra didn’t want them. Parmeet said that there is no fight though there might be differences in opinion. He added that he and Aditya have decided to think about the title only after the shooting of the film.

Akshay comes home to celebrate his birthday

Wife Twinkle has planned a quiet party

Akshay Kumar, who turned 42 today (Sept 9), completed his shooting in Italy before schedule to be with his family here on his birthday.

"Akshay wanted to ring in his birthday with his family. He doesn't want to miss this at any cost," said a source close to the actor who was shooting in Italy for Sajid Khan's "House Full".

"Akshay was missing them very much while shooting in Italy. Sajid understood Akshay's feelings and saw to it that the shooting gets wrapped up in advance so that Akshay can fly down to Mumbai and celebrate his birthday with his family," the source added.

Meanwhile, his wife Twinkle has planned a quiet party for family and close friends.

Akshay is very excited about this birthday as it is on 09.09.09. The actor considers 9 to be his lucky number.

“Today's date comes once in a lifetime and fortunately for me, my birthday is also today. I couldn't wish for a better birthday,” he has said.

While the past two years have been extremely lucky for Akshay, in 2009 he had to face setbacks in "Chandni Chowk To China" and "8X10 Tasveer" - both the films were rejected by audiences. But he managed to strike back with "Kambakkht Ishq".

His forthcoming films include Anthony D'Souza's "Blue", Priyadarshan's "De Dana Dan" and Vipul Shah's "Action Replay".

Ash and Yuvraj are dangerous on internet

Security firm names other risky celebrities

The latest annual list compiled by the Internet security firm McAfee has named cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the top two most dangerous Indian celebrities to search online.

Yuvraj Singh tops the list with Ash on number 2. They have overtaken Katrina Kaif, who topped the poll last year as the riskiest Indian celeb on the web.

According to McAfee, fans searching for celebrity downloads, wallpapers, photos or screen savers have a one in five chance of landing at a website that’s tested positive for online threats such as spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware.

So searching for the latest celebrity news and downloads can sometimes seriously damage one's computer.

The other celebrities on McAfee’s top ten list include M.S. Dhoni, Namitha, Shriya Saran, Harbhajan Singh, Sania Mirza, Asin, Bipasha Basu and Shahid Kapur in that order.

"Cricket and Bollywood are two subjects which every Indian is passionate about. It is no surprise that cybercriminals capitalise on celebrities from the world of sports and cinema to lure innocent fans to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise," said Kartik Shahani, regional director, India, McAfee Inc.

I am a proud owner of T-10 Ludhiana Gully Cricket Team: Divya Dutta

After the craze for owning a Twenty 20 team, now the game's T-10 format, called Gully Cricket, has started attracting celebrities. Actress Divya Dutta has become the first proud owner of the Ludhiana team. Divya bought the Ludhiana Gully Cricket team Saturday for season two that will kick-start Sep 19 and end in a grand finale at Kanpur Nov 20, a spokesperson said here Sunday. It will be played amongst 896 players from 64 teams in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Panchkula, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Patna, Gwalior, Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Surat, Nashik, Latur and Daman and will be telecast live on DD Sports Channel. Divya, who is from Ludhiana, will patronise the team and be responsible for marketing and promoting it nationally. She will also be involved in activities like grooming the players, cheering them and sponsorships for the team. "I am thrilled to be an owner of this team and will do my best for them. The T-10 format has enabled bringing out some of the best youngsters from all over the country. There are some very good players who play in the back alleys of our country and it is time their talent is showcased before the country, " Divya said. Reasonable Communications Pvt Ltd director Anoop Wadhwa, one of the organisers of the Gully Cricket, said that apart from Divya, they would 'sell' the 16 city teams across different states to other sponsors and celebrities to further popularise it. Film actor Riteish Deshmukh is the brand ambassador of the event, the first season of which was completed in January-February 2009. The spokesperson said that T-10 is played for 10 overs by each team. It is not open to any established players, but only the real gully players in small cities or far flung towns around the country. T-10 format is not officially sanctioned by the Indian cricket board.

How Sushmita Sen got sexy again!

Former beauty queen Sushmita Sen, who teams up for the fourth time with David Dhawan for forthcoming comedy "Do Knot Disturb", says she never thinks twice before saying yes to the maker of comedies. "I enjoy doing comedy and David Dhawan is the one who brought me into it with 'Biwi No.1'. So every time I want to laugh and make people laugh, it is with him. He is always there for me so I end up doing the same, " Sushmita told over phone from Mumbai. "The thing is that since he and Vashu Bhagnani (producer) both gave me 'Biwi No.1', I have pretty much gone with his guts. When he asks me for a film, I just do it. We usually don't get down into the role or anything, " she said. The 33-year-old has earlier given three laugh-riots with Dhawan - "Biwi No.1" (1999), "Kyo Kii...Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta" (2001) and "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya" (2005). "Do Knot Disturb", a co-production by BIG Pictures and Vashu Bhagnani, is a comedy on marriage and also stars comic hero Govinda, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh and Ranvir Shorey. Sushmita was excited about not only working with Dhawan and Bhagnani but also teaming up again with Govinda, in "Do Knot Disturb", which releases Oct 2. "Whenever I get to work with this family of three, I just say 'let's do it now'. Working with them is a fantastic experience. We have formed such a relationship that there is a comfort level and I know David as a director so well that I know exactly what he wants, " the actress said. "So there is no work stress. He works in great detail...you know your scene, his style of shooting...He shoots the film at a certain pace, " she explained. "Vashu-ji, on the other hand, is a fantastic producer. He doesn't leave any stone unturned to make or promote his films. And it's just a lovely chemistry working with Govinda, " she said. So what character does she play in the comedy on marriage? "I play Chichi's (as Govinda is fondly called) wife yet again (after 'Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta') but this is a very 21st Century wife and has her takes on marriage and infidelity." Not many know that the Bengali beauty was asked to put on 14 kg for her character in the movie. "I was asked to put on 14 kg but I told Vashu-ji and David 'I don't think it'll be easy for me to lose that much; so let's not attempt putting it on', " she said. "Finally I put on nine kilos, but then I had a month and a half to lose it, as I had to go back and shoot for 'Dulha Mil Gaya' after that, " she added. Wasn’t gaining all that weight only to lose it all over again a tedious task? “Gaining weight is the easiest process for a human being. You just have to binge. One can gain as much as 2 kgs every week by only binging. In my case I just stopped following my diet. Losing weight was the most difficult part as I also had to complete my other film Dulha Mil Gaya and I had to look thin for the second half of Do Knot Disturb. Now I have lost about eight kgs and currently weigh 59 kgs. I still need to lose one more kg.” Giving details about her weight loss regime, she added, “It took me about one and a half months to get back to my original shape. I must say it was quite difficult. I am very lucky to have a very good trainer, Mupur Shikhare. I have never travelled with my trainer but on a recent trip to Delhi, I did just that. I was on a strict diet. I used to eat in parts and drank a lot of ugly looking vegetable juices. I completely stopped eating carbs after 7pm. However, I used to eat every two hours. It was not just a protein diet but a well-balanced one with a healthy mix of protein and carbs. My only requirement was a healthy diet and that was fulfilled. I also did some serious training during that period. Discipline and diet control made it all possible.” Commenting on why she didn’t hit back when people said outrageous things about her weight gain, Sushmita said, “I don’t react to things. Quite frankly, I would have liked Vashuji or David to speak up for me at that time. But I guess they had their own reasons. It’s fine and now that the film is complete, people know that all my weight gain was for the film.” Sushmita also shrugged off rumours that Riteish was the main lead of the film

Ekta Kapoor recently made 200 young boys and girls do far more than just look good and mouth a few lines.
As her forthcoming untitled show demands intimacy, she asked those who went for the auditions to
smooch random people from the opposite sex so that she could decide if they fit the bill or not.

83 couples who met Ekta’s requirements were short listed. The audition for this show, which has been kept under wraps,
has been going on since one-and-a-half months. Most of those who had gone to the Balaji office to audition for
the new project were shocked at being asked to kiss those they don’t know, that too passionately. Some openly
refused to do it. A source says, “Many of them were shocked and decided to pack their bags and go home.”
