Debutante Shruti Haasan is yet to get exp0sed to the world but the new gal has already started to make headlines. First, her bikini strip created news, second her talent in singing astonished all and now her nose surgery is creating hullabaloo. Where actresses in Bollywood still hesitate to reveal any surgery done on them, Shruti is bold enough to accept the nose job done on her. She has no qualm in accepting that before the shooting of “Luck”, she has got her nose job done.
Shruti claimed that it was not for any beautification but for medical purpose as for a long time she was suffering from breathing problem.Shruti quips, “It is true that I underwent a nose surgery while I was abroad recently. But that was because I had a medical condition that restricted free breathing. There was no other reason for that. Now, after her surgery, I can finally sleep in peace and it has also enhanced my vocal skills”.
Shruti had got the surgery done in the US. As Shruti is a band singer, before the surgery, she made sure that it would not affect her vocal chord.How much talent Kamal Hassan and Sarika’s daughter got in acting and singing can be judged from “Luck” as it is going to hit the theatre on 24 July.

Surveen Chawla is basically from Chandigarh did her graduation in arts and mass communication. She soon moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. Deepika Padukone has now moved on to comic roles with Sajid Khan's Housefull and Karthik Calling Karthik where Farhan Akhtar co-stars.

Her earlier roles included Chandni Chowk To China (action genre), Om Shanti Om (heavy melodrama) and Bachna Ae Haseeno (romantic comedy).

While she has wrapped the shoot of Karthik Calling Karthik, she is currently shooting for Housefull in London.

On the Housefull set, most people Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutt, and director Sajid Khan are closet comedians with a sharp comic timing. Deepika was, quite literally, at her wit's end. She says, "I was lost. But Sajid does one very good thing. He acts out every scene. I find it easy to follow what he wants. I'm learning fast. I've realised that comedy is the hardest thing to do. And all these actors are so good at it. Akshay has worked with the best comic directors. I'm learning comic timing watching him."

Says Deepika, "I'm very comfortable working with Akshay. I was looking forward to doing comedy. It took me a while to get a hand of it. Now I'm having a ball doing comedy for the first time. "

About working with Farhan in Kartik Calling Kartik with Farhan, she says, "Since I'd already met him on his chat show Oye It's Friday, we got along on the set immediately. Farhan makes people around him comfortable. Maybe it was because he's been there done it allâ€¦acting, directing, producing. He made me very comfortable. When Kartik started and got over, I didn't even realize. It was so much fun."

Shahid Kapoor says it's a "challenge" to work with Vishal Bharadwaj but at the same time he admits that the director brings out the best in an actor.

"Vishal is a very dangerous director. Working with him is no less than undertaking dangerous tasks because he brings you out of your comfort zone and asks you to perform stuff that has never been done by an actor in his life or career," Shahid said.

The two teamed up for the just released dark thriller "Kaminey". Shahid plays a double role in the film. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra.

"It's a challenge for an actor to work with him but at the same time it's very fruitful too... he brings out a new talent in you every time he takes a shot. He is multi-talented and very supportive and I'm very thankful to him," he said.

Talk about living in a shell. Ram Gopal Varma learnt how embarrassing it could get when he failed to recognize Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently. The cricketer met the director in the VIP lounge at the Bangalore airport and was shocked when Ramu thought he was a wannabe actor wanting his number. He brushed off the captain giving him his office number and asking him to drop off his photos there. Dhoni was left stunned at that.
